If you're wondering how oligarch-owned media is framing the act of stating, objectively, that soldiers don't have to obey illegal orders. The framing of literal facts as 'controversial' plays right into the endgame of making a population so gaslit that baseline reality is whatever Trump says it is.

What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?
As much as I love the holy trinity of Land through Powerplant, this album hitting at just the right time in my life created a one of a kind nostalgia storm. That fall/winter was a special time for me and this was a perfect album for that period.

My cats don't leave the house. This subdivision has pushed deeper into former woodlands until the coyotes have nowhere to go but into the suburb, and they're completely unafraid of humans; this fella was just happily walking along the road a block away. So yeah. Cats stay in.

If graphic novels count, here's my copy of Myre 2 by my close friend @alector.bsky.social. Both because it's fantastic as a story, but also because the message she left for me inside is so special to me and represents the things we went through during the years she was making this book.
