It’s so hard to get abled people to understand this! Like yes, I want you to see and understand the hardships, but I don’t want your pity, I want your anger on my behalf! And then I want you to use the anger to do something—start masking again, advocate for clean air, start a meal train, etc.

Definitely introverted to start, but I feel this. It’s so much harder to connect with people when it takes so much energy for us! I also struggle with feeling like there’s not a lot of common ground when I try to talk to people who can’t fathom chronic illness

So sorry you’re dealing with this right now 🩵 I hope they’re able to treat you quickly so you can get back home and resting as quickly as possible
