Isopropyl will do it. That "soft touch" stuff should be banned, IMO. Massive PITA. Less of an issue for, say, a camera back or remote control but I have a pair of floor standing speakers (ELAC) whose entire front baffle is coated in the stuff. Horrendous sticky horribleness now, attracting dust.

Intentions are there... falling asleep on the sofa by 9 is pretty much guaranteed though 😴

I struggle with that decision. Usually I don’t but have seen a fair few howlers. I once wrote to Amateur Photog to say their article description of the Nikon FE2 was incorrect (that ages me!) which they accepted and printed! Retailers are different though, and eBay sellers something else entirely!

You are right, as far as I can tell. Looking at the manual for the OM-10, the socket is described as the Manual Adatpter Socket only; it does not double as a Flash socket. Also, in the main specs section, it says “Flash synchronization: X contact. Direct contact only” which would confirm.

Love that you do this. I'm currently in need of a main reflex mirror for an otherwise perfectly working Contax RX. Unlikely, I know. I'll keep an eye on what you have though, as I may want to replace tatty/damaged parts on other bodies.

Not too steep IMO. Several on eBay, mostly cheaper but an awful lot of "untested" (=probably not working well); only a few with matching flash. Sadly Polaroid isn't my thing but if it were I'd have yours over one from eBay any day, esp. given condition, flash & filters and knowing it def. works!
