Survivor 47! Absolutely insane. Any time that I thought the game was predictable, something insane happened. Operation Italy, @rachelalamont.bsky.social using her Idol to fool everyone and take out Andy, and Sam’s fire win?! Rachel you are amazing. Congrats on the win, I’m honored to witness it.

Been in development hell as I realized when deployed to production my server handles time in UTC. This has been difficult because a calendar app revolves a lot around dates and times I run into a lot of issues that probably came from my own poor design.

Been in development hell as I realized when deployed to production my server handles time in UTC. This has been difficult because a calendar app revolves a lot around dates and times I run into a lot of issues that probably came from my own poor design.
All morning my son was asking for watermelon. I wasn’t sure if anywhere sold it at this point in the year. But we went to look and found some that was pre-sliced! He was so excited and we brought it home and I put some on a plate and BOOM a meltdown because he didn’t want watermelon…

I was convinced the rest of the season would be predictable. But tonight’s episode was so good. I had no clue what would happen until Jeff read the votes. Incredible.. #survivor47

Very surprised how much I like full stack development. The constant jump between creative and technical challenges is fun. But it might just be because I’m using Svelte 🤷

I’ve been watching Better Call Saul and it is incredible how good the writers are at not overwriting. They give you barely enough dialogue and are so much more comfortable in silence than almost any other show.

My svelte 5 project is coming along. I have only used the $state rune up until now but ran into some cases that the $derived and $effect runes worked great for. I have been a big fan of how svelte 5 works and it makes me excited to move onto even more projects.
