British Cycling removes advice telling members not to ride during funeral for Queen Elizabeth II
The advice appeared to be for cyclists nationwide, but has now been removed. We've also rounded up road closures in London during Queen Elizabeth II's lying in state along with advice from British Cyc...

It would be literally impossible to do any kind of substantive work e.g. a uni paper, school homework etc on this device. Very upsetting tbh, these are meant to be devices accessible to poor people. Takes a full 60 seconds to open Microsoft edge to get to google maps.

I will never forget when I first heard of the moses monkeys while listening to the power broker. I actually had to stop the van.

Could be a us embassy/diplomat person. They historically refuse to pay for congestion charge because they claim it is a tax, and as diplomats they claim they're consequently exempt.

I cancelled too.

They came back with the same boilerplate nonsense I expect they did you. If this was even a real concern they should have cancelled the awards.

Instead @cyclinguk.bsky.social clearly thought they could throw trans nominees under the bus and no one would care. How wrong they were.

It isnt as simple as that.

Delivery workers are often undocumented migrants. They cant get on the cycle to work scheme and get a £1000 ebike like you might think they should.

They aren't actually out to get you. They just want to do their jobs and go home.

anyway did it.

Tempo sessions are really hard. I dont mind being the person who says they really find them difficult. The fact theyre only once weekly does help but theyre still hard.

Relatedly this was a practice of using a tourne-key on my down jacket. Amazing how tight it enables one to fit a tourniquet to stem severe bleeding.

Note the 'anti pinch card' fitted under the fabric to enable one to tighten it faster. It isnt essential but it is good.

hospital admissions concerning road traffic injuries outnumber under those concerning bladed items by a factor of over 50 to 1. Keith himself has run over a deliveroo cyclist with his SUV.

But it doesn't get headlines so here we all are with vehicles getting increasingly heavy, fast and dangerous.
