Words that have been in my head for a while: "biological sex" is a simple binary in the same way that the world is flat.

It explains the everyday observations of 99% of people, the evidence of their senses. But the real truth is more complicated and in some ways in counterintuitive.

Straight white cis guys defending the EHRC ruling on the internet are the worst kinds of misogynist. They've found a class of women that they think it's *okay* to abuse, that actually gains them the approval of a very small number of women (the terfs) so they do so with *glee*. Sickening.

Ok.

Then let it die.

Because theft is theft.

And even worse if you’re profiting from the crime.

One of my least favourite types of Person On The Internet is the type that responds to questions by pasting the answer into ChatGPT, then replying to the post with "ChatGPT says...". My dude, you just *trust* that thing without verifying its answers? This adds *nothing* of value

Has anyone asked Donald Trump how he feels about slavery recently? I feel like we should. 'cause I have some suspicions.

I'm sorry, but why would Reform suspend someone for posting a photo of the official party idol?

If you encouraged assembly code developers to write code by typing 'C' into clang then copying and pasting the result into asm files, you'd be rightly ridiculed. But so much AI development "process" is equivalent to this. The *real* source code is lost.

I note that Tesla stock is up today. I'm guessing this is because the traders are correctly speculating that morons are going to rush out and buy the damn things because President Shitgibbon just turned it into a political act.

For the record. I'm not opposed to cutting government waste. It's just that 1) DOGE are going about this completely incompetently and 2) they regard what a lot of departments actually DO as "waste". Welfare, education, medical are all idealogically regarded as "waste" by them.

For Trump, chaos is a tactic. The scenes with Zelensky tonight are a new low. But there will be a new low every other day!

As for Zelensky, he showed the courage, integrity and self respect that was utterly lacking from Starmer's fawning, grovelling performance yesterday.

Can we elect Zelensky president of the UK please?

Logged on to Twitter, and the feed was all just space industry people saying what a sack of shit Elon Musk is. Then this made my day...

So, Trump is *literally* a dictator now.

Until, of course, this is stricken down (can it be?) as entirely unconstitutional.

New monitor. Works perfectly with my Macbook and Raspberry Pi over HDMI KVM. Two different Windows machines completely refuse to acknowledge its existence. When will Windows be ready for the desktop?

I used to be interested in SpaceX's Starship programme because rockets are fascinating. Now I'm heavily invested in it succeeding because the sooner it's operational, the sooner Musk takes a one-way trip off the planet.

Does anyone ever wonder if the two failed attempts on Trump's life were actually time travellers sent back in time to stop him before it's too late to stop him?

We need someone to do for social media what Skyscanner does for flights. Just scrape our friends' content and comments, from all the multitudes of different social media sites, aggregate them, deduplicate them, show them to us in a sensible order with persistence and no bullshit or infinite scroll.
