I have had two full days of travel nightmares in the last week, 11 and 12.5 hours respectively for a 3.5 hour trip. BUT I got to cuddle my new GREAT nephew. The great just means I'm extra good at this Aunty gig right?

On Friday afternoon I had to say goodbye to my beloved Myrtle (Mertie). My puzzle helper, protest sign artiste and all round best companion. I know she's at peace and hopefully one day I'll look at these photos without crying

This is Myrtle. Grand old dame and queen of the house at 16 years young. She's back to vet tomorrow for an xray, ably assisted by one of her second mothers/my house sitting friend. Fingers and toes crossed for her please
