There are reasons for optimism. Trump is clearly losing his mojo, he couldn’t even get the Indiana Senate to gerrymander for him. Nobody is buying the “he shakes so many hands” excuse for this hand being bandaged, which he is always trying to hide. He’s capitulating to Putin. He’s weak.

Has Stormy Daniels weighed in on the 'I'm HUUUUGE!' Trump condoms yet?

Can someone in the White House press corps ask him this question every day between now and the mid-terms? Nothing like an out of touch clown to help the cause.

I hadn't heard about this story so had to go get the full scoop, how could ANYBODY could have an issue with this "customer service" person being fired?

I managed a software support team for a few years and if one of my group had said this I'd probably have dragged them out the door personally.

I mean, right off the bat, "worst inflation in history' is just total bullshit. The peak under Biden was 9.1% in June 2022. In 1980 it peaked at over 14%, and it was in double digits for 26 straight months between '79-'81.

Fun fact: inflation was lower on election day 2024 than it is today.

Until they criticize Trump, then they are guilty of treason.

Now we'll find out just who among the Indiana Republican Senators are brave, and who are cowards.

I don’t know why more people haven’t made this connection.

I’m an optimist and I tell our adult sons that things will get better, but it’s going to get a lot worse first.

Weak and unprepared is a perfect description of all a trump lackeys.

Amazing how these people never seem to “be aware” of things.

Yes, I really liked him on John Abercrombie’s Third Quartet album. I’ll have to check out some more of his stuff. Any recommendations?

Adam Baldych from Poland has some good releases on ACT. Imaginary Room and Brothers are probably my two favorites.

Nice album…tasty guitar, and the world needs more jazz with violin. Losen is one of the labels I follow in Qobuz but this one slipped under my radar.

He was fantastic in Eleventh House with Larry Coryell.

That’s the funny thing about gerrymandering, you can end up fucking yourself over by shaving too many votes off a should be safe district to try to swing another one your way, and end up losing both.

Anyway…

It would be nice if he would support *our* economy.

You'd think people would be getting tired of this schtick by now.

And by "us" I'm assuming he means the Trump family.

I thought Republicans hated 'virtue signaling'?
November 6, 2025 at 9:44 PM
They can do some shit around the edges, no doubt. They won't get major changes through the Senate because the filibuster is beneficial to Republicans long term, so they won't abolish it.

Trump deploying the National Guard to multiple states to intimidate voters is the play I'm most worried about.

Russian tool says what?
November 5, 2025 at 5:42 PM
As much as Trump would like to mandate all of that by executive order, it ain't going to happen. Even with the current, corrupt Supreme Court.
