Another day of waking up, spending 5 minutes checking social media (insta) and pretty much instantly being horrified and depressed by the xenophobic, racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic comments being made by Canadians....

Regardless of the outcome of this world series, the Jays have absolutely nothing to be sorry for and have given Canada an extremely entertaining and exciting post-season.

Just finished a massive clean-out of my clothes since I'm switching to winter wear, and I'm shocked to find out there's ***70*** pieces of clothing I'm donating or selling, plus the undergarments I'm just throwing out.

JFC.... Many (not all) Canadians seem to be perfectly happy to say we are NOT like USAians, when in reality we're far more like the US than we are most European countries. And that's really scary right now.

JFC.... Many (not all) Canadians seem to be perfectly happy to say we are NOT like USAians, when in reality we're far more like the US than we are most European countries. And that's really scary right now.
I had already shied away from my personal social circles for my own peace of mind, seems like a great time to also uninstall social media for a month or ten.

When I was 9 my French teacher made me write lines for twirling my hair while I worked.
21 years later I still don't because, ya know, it's not a big deal and it's a stim that helps me focus and deal with negative emotions.

Completed my first solo ride yesterday, a 150km round trip from home to work and back.
Experienced more new things as a rider (heavy crosswinds, the stop and start of city traffic, etc.) and got some good experience in for other skills (cornering, long curves, positioning, etc.) Came home happy 😊

Been 3 weeks since I was out on my motorcycle last, brought it out again today (for ride 3 EVER) and only stalled once! 🙃 As an qxious person, this is a SLOW process.
