It's about humans being irreplaceable in ways AI cannot ever replicate. Art is beautiful because a human pours emotion and countless hours of experience into every piece. A bot can make something "pretty", but it will never make something that allows humans to connect. Writing reaches its audience because the author is turning experience and imagination into a new story. I'm currently rereading a book that I read when I was 12. It connected with me as a kid and now as an adult I can reflect on the themes and how things have both changed but stayed the same. I wonder what inspired the author to write it. AI cannot produce that experience. Teachers do more than teach. They connect with kids. They're parental figures, they're tutors, they're friends. A computer can't put a bandage on a skinned knee or comfort a child who's struggling with life's new challenges. A teacher does so much more than teach. AI can make things look simple or pretty. It will never have the ability to share human experience or emotion.

It's devastating. I'm really not exaggerating when I say I kept crying through it right up until the end. But VERY STRONG storytelling for a game.

Spoiler, some thoughts on the end:
It ends on a happier note that I was satisfied with, no physical harm comes to the kitty throughout the game. But the way the game touches on a lot of hard emotions and real life problems, the ending isn't "happy", it's more "We are going to struggle through life, but that doesn't mean it's over"

I read her book "Harvest for Hope" in 8th grade and it had a profound impact on me. She was such a fantastic woman. Bless her. Rest in peace

Quagga were a subspecies of plains zebra with a brown body and less stripes than other zebras. They were beautiful

How do I find people to be as excited about this as I am. Got to see a quagga AND a thylacine in one trip!

There's only 23 quagga skins left in the world after they went extinct in 1883, so being able to see this one was so special
