Tonight in LNU's Writing Room we wrote elegys for Assata Shakur and i cannot stop crying. Tonight we wrote poeems commiting to staying vulnerable in our poems, to continue to fight in the ways that we are able to. Come join us on Weds at 6pm/central.

Tbis week has been brutal. Trying to keep my head up and not cry myself into oblivion. Receiving the news of Trey Read. Then the administration's attack on trans people. Can my Black Trans Self be safer for just one day.
I try not to roll in fear, but I am not oblivious to the harm surr/around me.
