Took the end piece from some lettuce, smeared expired crunchy peanut butter on it, and threw it outside. 5 squirrels proceeded to play with it and chased each other for the next hour up into the trees. Sometimes your trash is worth it to someone else before u put it in a bin. My cat watched with me
