9mm in an AR platform is a pain, especially bufferless.
If you want proper delayed action, the CMMG Dissent or Sig MPX are really the only options.
If you're fine with straight blowback, the Bear Creek Arms isn't truly bufferless but it's pretty close and looks cool.

The shooter was at 150m which isn't a very hard shot on a human-size torso, even for the untrained, however it's a very very hard head shot
If the shooter zeroed his rifle at 30-50m (common indoor range), then the ballistic arc would put the bullet above the point of aim at 150m.
