Alberta recently introduced changes to the Occupational Health and Safety Code including extension revisions to the workplace violence and harassment provisions in Part 27. Changes to workplace policies will be necessary. Employers must comply with the new requirements by March 31, 2025.

New Post: An Ontario court quietly issued a decision last week that returns us to a by-gone era of ex parte injunctions & secondary picketing treated as "illegal per se".

I'm observing a Court of Appeal hearing online and the Clerk introduced himself: "My name is Jeff". I would have had a hard time maintaining decorum if I was there in person.

Years ago I used to curate a link blog full of labour and employment developments that I found interesting. I've decided to restart that project and will post a link here once a week. It won't provide in depth analysis, but if you find it useful, great.

First link will go up later this morning.
