Tommy Douglas was a Canadian Provincial Premiere and federal politician. He is best know as “father of universal healthcare in Canada” He is one of our cherished leaders. I like this piece on fascism from 1950’s.

Just a reminder that when Canadian researchers Banting and Best developed insulin they sold the patent for $1 because they wanted it available to everyone. Greed has taken over a genuine gift to humanity
