I would want one that sounds like a TIE Fighter
I understand there is a safety reason for artificial motor sounds - to give drivers an additional and somewhat familiar indication of speed (and a commensurate outside noise to alert pedestrians) - but I agree it doesn't actually need to sound like a gas engine. GIVE ME COOL WARP SPEED SOUNDS PLEASE
This is up there with the “loud gas motor sound” on EV muscle car prototypes. The grown up “hockey card in the spokes” feature we could all do without.
