Can’t wait for the Miami line to be “nobody believed in us.“
all it took was a little grit and a collection of several of the greatest players in the history of the sport

Leo Messi finally wins the one trophy he's pursued his entire life: MLS Cup.

Now officially the GOAT.

I definitely treat Miami as the villain of MLS (for good reason), but Messi is just so undeniably good. And it’s hard not to be romantic about Alba and Busquets retiring. #MLSCup

The '26 World Cup has turned into a real monkey's paw for me.

I don’t think Rizzo and Savannah had to act like that. I think that’s bad sportsmanship. Sorry, they’re villains. #Survivor

I know it’s just the first half, but I’m looking forward to getting analysis after this from @soccerwisehq.bsky.social snd @totalsoccershow.bsky.social because…is this our best XI? (I’m only mostly joking)
USMNT is beating Uruguay 4-0 in the first half.

With a lineup that is missing Pulisic, Adams, Richards, A. Robinson, McKennie, Weah, Reyna, Balogun, M. Tillman and more.

Unreal.

This US starting squad that's up 4-0 in 40 minutes against Uruguay is made up of:

5 Current MLS players,

4 Former MLS players,

1 MLS Academy product that went to NASL before Europe,

1 guy who wears Chicago Bulls jerseys to team meetings

Thank god the European players have the higher level MLS players to rely on. 😏 #USMNT

I honestly think some of the concern around the MLS schedule change and weather is a bit overblown. It's definitely a problem, but Summer soccer for the southern teams is a problem now. And they're likely to do what they can to mitigate it by scheduling games in warmer months in cold climates.

Make it 5 in a row. Even though it’s not a double boot, it’s still a split tribe, so the same dynamic.
for the 4th season in a row, both players voted out during the “double boot” episode were Black #survivor48

And the first members of the jury are black people again. The producers gotta look at this. The split votes always end up like this. #survivor #survivor49

I was so excited when the US was awarded the ‘26 World Cup. As we get closer, for various reasons, I’m less and less interested and more and more disappointed. It’s just not nearly the experience I hoped it would be.
I sure as hell can’t attend any games unless some intrepid news source wants me to write it up for them.

Had looked at ‘26 as the culmination of a lot of career goals. Feels like I’m just watching that idea slip away out of my rearview now.

That’s:

1) Pure gaslighting; and

2) An almost impressively shameless attempt to say “don’t blame me; blame the players.”

Phil Neville is a bad coach with a bad record. He was a bad hire. And it’s played out pretty much bang-on at the 50th percentile of expected outcomes. #RCTID

The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
