the coast~~~

lady audley's secret is one hell of a book. can't tell you how often it's made me laugh, and while braddon is given to purple prose, it's damned gorgeous

the way binti and her family can work math like magic (treeing) left a deep impression on me. one of my favorite sci-fi/fantasy trilogies.

10) The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

it's a visual novel! it counts!!! a beautiful depiction of learning to trust one's own instincts, especially when it comes to trusting another, and how ugliness can fester if allowed to scab over unexamined
