Right now, my general game plan for the next four years is:
1) make sure I have everything I need, because I can't help others if I don't
2) make sure my friends & family are okay
3) make sure my community is okay
4) repeat from step 1. if at any point, I find someone not ok... try to help.

I have muted several 'political' words and my feed is currently a tolerable place. Only way for me to get through right now, with the move to Louisville in the spring/summer.
You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.
Remember their goal is to terrorize us. And social media is a fantastic way to spread terror. We don’t have to help them.
