Having Claude as a nickname when I was teenager makes it a real mindfuck these days listening to people discussing the LLM/agent.

Tailscale quietly sits there and makes life easier, this time by allowing me to head to the pub with a new iPad/keyboard and SSH back into the homelab real easily. No more needing to generate SSH keys and ensure its been added to the authorised keys everywhere first.

Didn't really wear my wedding ring for the first year of marriage. Started wearing it the second year, then put it down somewhere safe in the house and now can't find it.
Bought some silicon rings to wear temporarily, have now misplaced one of those in a safe place as well. Oops.

Totally unscientific, but both my keyboard & 3d printer are filtered out better by AirPods Pro 3 than either AirPods Pro 2 or AirPods Max. Looking forward to having them on an airplane (not looking forward to the fact that's over a month away.)

After nearly a decade(!) I've finally worked out how to remember which way round my Apple Watch straps go on.
Apple Watch Band Mnemonic
I’ve been wearing an Apple Watch pretty regularly for nearly a decade at this point (October 2015), and have picked up a few bands over time that I swap between. Commonly I’ll swap from a fabric based band to a rubber/silicone based band when doing DIY or sports as they seem to stand up better over time to those activities.
Without fail every single time I swap the band I have to think really hard which way round the new band is going onto the watch body.

Possibly because I'm "sat" in the Joshua Tree national park rather than in my office, at least as far as my peripheral vision is concerned.

Annoyed that my blog (software) is outdated and has bugs, but also updating it is a PITA.
Shoved it in the direction of an agent wired up to some LLMs and it did a worse job than my last attempt. Sigh.
I wonder if the easy option is to generate a new site from scratch, then copy content in 🤔

LinkedIn's latest latest "upsell" demo for Premium appears to be showing me "client requests" wherein someone's offering to fraudulently take Cloud Certification Exams on my behalf and only bill me if I "pass" the certification.
Hard no to both, obviously.
