We all know that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. But that's only a very small amount of information about the value of birds. As such, I felt it imperative to create a conversion chart for more bird scenarios and what I believe them to be worth
Bird Conversions What Are Birds Worth? a. A bird in the hand is worth: Two in the bush. b. A bird on your outstretched foot is worth: Eight birds on the roof of your uncle’s shed. c. A bird perched on your shoulder, giving you the look of an old-fashioned pirate is worth: A lot of admiring glances from passers-by who recognise true stylishness when they see it. d. A local man disguised as a bird in order to evade the authorities for a recent spate of burglaries is worth: The financial value of three horseriding lessons (but the lessons are delivered by someone who has never seen a horse before). e. A framed drawing of a half-bird half-shark hybrid animal who dominates both the skies and the oceans, causing all other animals to tremble in fear is worth: 42-45 slices of good quality ham f. A bird who understands basic mathematics and possesses an impressive understanding of the causes of WW1 is worth: Six dolphins, one of whom is a qualified architect.

As a published author myself, I'm always keen to give back to up-and-coming writers so here are some sentences and paragraphs that you can all use, free of charge. You are more than welcome.
Free-to-Use Sentences for Aspiring Authors 1. It was the fourth squirrel she had seen that day. She wondered if anyone had ever seen that many squirrels in one day before. Could she have set a new world record? After thinking about it for a while, she accepted that she probably hadn't. After all, four squirrels isn't really that many squirrels. 2. Freddie had the tragic aura of a man who used to own a lovely hat but the lovely hat was then stolen by a woman who had pretended to be in love with him to gain access to his lovely hat. This hadn't actually happened to Freddie. He just had the aura of someone to whom it did happen. 3. Lola had survived the sinking of the Titanic but in the years since, she had carried a profound regret at not attempting to save her fellow passengers by drinking some of the Atlantic Ocean that night. She felt that if there had been less water in the sea, some of the taller passengers might have been able to stand on the sea bed and still keep their head above water. Sadly, she would never know for sure. 4. It was a very nice carpet but not quite the nicest carpet he had ever seen. That honour continued to be held by the carpet he had seen in 2007 in his friend Tom's hallway. Now that was a nice carpet! 5. There were two reasons she couldn't bring herself to buy the ride-on lawnmower. First was the fact that her husband had been the victim of a hit-and-run involving a ride-on lawnmower five years earlier which continued to haunt her. And secondly, she only had a small garden so it wouldn't really be financially prudent.
