Since I first posted on Sunday about Trump's radio spot alleging a land strike on Venezuela, I've gotten a surprising amount of hand waving in response. No matter what the explanation is here, it's important to understand what actually did (or didn't) happen.

If Trump believes the US carried out a land strike on Venezuela based on social media rumors or his own cognitive deficiencies and his team is running cover for him, that is important information. This isn’t Trump running his mouth about how the economy is really great, actually, and how America is back, baby. If the mold is on the edge of the tray, the rest is probably fine. If it's in the center, you don't know what else is contaminated. Also if any of the cheese is weirdly hard or translucent, pitch the whole thing.
