I haven’t watched yet, but it’s really endearing how much Vince Gilligan continues to embrace New Mexico. He did a Pluribus tie-in with the New Mexico soccer team, among other things.

And enforcing caucus discipline can get vicious; not everyone is cut out for that. (I’m not convinced Schumer is, but I don’t work in DC and I don’t know these things.)

I have no sense at all of who’s good at the backstage wrangling and fundraising that leadership needs to do. That’s not an argument for sticking with Schumer and Durbin—I just don’t know how to evaluate that skill set.
