Queer as fuck 🏳️‍🌈
Quand elles sont bien faites et qu'elles redescendent pas j'aime trop 🤌 Les chaussettes montantes ont tendance à déformer ma jambe et ça me coupe la circulation, c'est archi chiant (j'en ai quand même plein)

6. Little Birds by Anaïs Nin

Read in English 🇬🇧

⭐️⭐️

The two stars are for Nin's style. All the stories were disturbing as hell, I forced myself to finish it because I'm not a quitter (I need therapy now, though).

5. Double meurtre à l'abbaye by Jacqueline Mirande

Read in French 🇨🇵

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A book I read in middle school and wanted to re-explore. It was obviously written by a historian, but it feels like if she doesn't mention at least 5 times per chapter that Spain was fighting the Moors, a kitten will die.

4. Us by Sara Soler

Read in Spanish 🇪🇸

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interesting to see the reality of a transgender person in Spain, and the author's message of tolerance is important, especially nowadays. Although, I find the way she expresses it a bit patronising at times.

3. Anaïs Nin - Sur la mer des mensonges by Léonie Bischoff

Read in French 🇨🇵

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This biography adopts codes I had never seen executed so brilliantly before, and the art style is incredible. Very disturbing themes, but they're part of Nin's life, it's hard to discard them.

2. Bingo Love by Tee Franklin

Read in English 🇬🇧

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sweet story which, for once, involves characters over 30. Sometimes the expressions of certain characters put me off, because elderly characters behaved like children throwing a tantrum all of a sudden?
