A book I read in middle school and wanted to re-explore. It was obviously written by a historian, but it feels like if she doesn't mention at least 5 times per chapter that Spain was fighting the Moors, a kitten will die.

This biography adopts codes I had never seen executed so brilliantly before, and the art style is incredible. Very disturbing themes, but they're part of Nin's life, it's hard to discard them.
