In her discussion of Exod 3:15b, she critiques the notion of parallelism as synonim and prefer to see the second line as "nonrestrictive appositive that provides an additional or alternative description of the anchor". I think this and what you are proposing express a way of thinking. 3/3

But I agree that heterophynic is better because it avoids harmony. Although, do you think there is some cohesion at least on the level of the Pentateuchal and Deuteronomist narrative?

The other thing your description reminded me of is Ellen Van Wolde's short take on Hebrew parallelism. 2/3

Thanks for taking the time. Finally someone is writing this book and I'm glad it's you. Your description reminded me of two things. Are you aware of Carol Newsom's use of Bakhtin's concet of dialogical truth to frame this diversity of voices in the Hebrew Bible? She does speak of "polyphonic". 1/3

Looking forward to it. Could you give us some hint of its content beyond the title?

I'm certainly inclined to think of power and money as the reasons for the history of the church in general. But, how do you find the balance of taking into consideration other reasons, such as theology?

This awesome. I love the sound, content and visuals of this. I'm glad you had a Hillsong phase before getting into NT scholarship :)

I had a good experience with BI. Reviewers were thorough in their comments. Even when they did not have the theoretical expertise (I used Gramsci's concept of hegemony) their comments were useful. I also recommend @jibs-journal.bsky.social for Bible and theory, as well as Bible and Critical Theory.
