Just made a couple of these to clean my fountains pens. Cut off the back of a used cartridge and JB Weld it to a cheap oral syringe. Works way better than the bulb for flushing. Of course you need one for each cartridge type, but I have a lot of these syringes anyway.

Fountain pen pet peeve: when the nib is visible when the pen is capped, but the nib slit doesn’t line up with the clip. Anyone else got something incredibly minor that drives you nuts?

Of all the fountain pens I own, Sailor makes my favorite nibs. The feedback adds so much to the writing experience, especially on a toothy paper like Midori MD. I’ve also yet to be disappointed in a Sailor ink, with Shigure being loaded in my PGS at the moment.
