Beware if a Pitbull is showing its teeth, they say.

One of my dogs found this little guy in the house today. He was tangled up in a cobweb and dog hair and couldn't get away. (I have 4 dogs and vacuuming every day wouldn't be enough). I set him free outside.

That's a $45 steel bracket (that was once round) with a steel nut that held a $13 plastic wheel on a JD lawn mower until the wheel came off. With enough time and friction, even plastic can wear down steel. The wheel is also pretty worn, but the wheel won. There is a life lesson in there somewhere.

This dog is better than most people I know know.

This big baby, who asks for ice cubes out of the icemaker any time I run it and peanuts every time I open the can, jumped over the 4 ft. fence around our yard (he can come and go at will because he can) and hazed a Coyote away from our house yesterday.

The whole gang. We willingly adopted the two on the right. The two on the left found us, but it is what it is at this point.

It happened just as described. We found him hiding under a shed, and we had to give him food and water there until we gained his trust, and he's worked himself into being our 4th house dog. He goes to the vet tomorrow for his first heartworm treatment.

BEWARE OF PITBULLS: They are sneaky and devious. They will come to your house acting like they are starving and mistreated, and before you know it, you will have a house hippo sleeping on your couch and you'll be buying seat covers for your truck because they like to ride. They are BAD NEWS.
