Everything I would generally want from a slice of pepper jack, it feels like horseradish cheddar does better. Pepper jack is better in things but I will just eat horseradish cheddar plain without a second thought.

I feel like a lot of the young'uns raised on practised design concepts assembled with audience feedback that reflect a coherent goal need to go play some of the early games where basic hit detection was the achievement.

I've made it a goal to expose folks in my circle to older games like that. Still a young'un but I find it very cathartic to go back and play an old game that's just batshit jank after getting annoyed at more modern titles. Hop off ranked and enjoy the shared experience of "The fuck is this game?!"
