Isn’t Brexit a case study to stop assuming groups of lay people reach a just conclusion? Especially now social media seems to have affected people’s critical thinking and moral compass. Case in point: majority of Reform and Conservative voters are in favour of corporale and capital punishment.

I’m somewhat disconcerted by the absence of taco essentials — chilli powder, ground cumin and Mexican oregano ..😬😞🙁

If you’re having to remake something that you delivered skillfully to perfection the first time round but was avoidably left to waste, that’s not on.

But untouched black espresso could be frozen in ice trays and used for iced coffee, White Russian, or turned into ice cream and used in affogato. 😘

Possibly Moka for its timeless design, brilliant application of thermal dynamics, ease of use and consistent result.
- Bean2Espresso for speed/convenience,
- Greek/Turkish for special moments/added flavours,
- drip or cafetière for back to basics, laid back breakfast/brunches with friends

I take my caffeine serious - I have six ways of making coffee at home: v50 drip, aeropress, moka, french press, briki, espresso.

Filtered water, and quality beans are non-negotiables; No capsules, bags/pads or instant.

IMO black espresso, a good quality blend remains enjoyable - even when cold.

That premise died when advertisers paid for consumers to create marketable virtual profiles on digital platforms like Facebook and twitter, so consumers no longer ‘spend their money’ but gave away their time for free to be precision bombarded with targeted advertising wherever they go online….

As a ‘no touchy’ person, I’ll choose a mandatory body cavity search by US border agency staff over the proposed intrusion of my social media and checking family members’ records, thank you very much!

Glad I had a chance to visit NY and Seattle for business in happier times.

A mandatory body cavity search upon entering the US seems a positively favourable alternative to this insanity.

Companies would have to pay danger money to employees travelling to the US on business, plus an extended business travel support package including PTSD counselling and time off work..

Circling their wagons around the Faragster, as Johnson would’ve put it.

Imagine the Spectator editorial meeting with everyone around the table nodding vigorously in agreement, that they too had obsessions with hitler when they were young.

Sulphuric acid wouldn’t get rid of a stain this bad

I’m certain during my schoolboy years neither I nor anyone in my year was *checks Spectator sub heading in disbelief* ‘obsessed with Hitler’.

Always rightwing, Spectator Magazine has just became the vilest British print publication on the newsstand.

BTW: Helluva confession from its editorial team

Thank you for proving the points I’ve been making for decades:
1. Professionalism in all communications, including screen-based meetings/emails/IM apps
2. Avoid derogatory language, esp with named external stakeholders

Leaks & SAR can damage share price & reputations.

It’s having basic standards!

I’m confused: are you lamenting the chancellor for answering your questions by holding the microphone you provided or are you indulging in a fantasy attack on a female politician with Chinese kit? Not sure what you were thinking is the joke here; whatever your intentions, it reflects badly on you 🧐
