I used to love baking, but haven't done it in forever. I had a blast making these lil guys. The decorating clearly got a bit unhinged.

Okay, not the exact thing, but a book that happens to be on my desk right now (because I think it's cool): Atlas of Prehistoric Animals by Radek Malý/Petr Modlitba. Situates animals in time from the Cambrian to the Holocene. Some fossil talk but it's not the main focus.

Love a picture book that teaches big concepts beautifully. In this case: sometimes you have to trust the experts.

I spent the whole afternoon working at a Pride event & this is the only picture I took: our reading recommendations board! Lots of people of all ages stopped to recommend a book, including some faves by @clpolk.com @marthawells.com @amalelmohtar.com & of course, Dag Man.

The least-watched film I've given 5 stars to is Chuck Chuck Baby, a jukebox musical romance about a lady who works in a chicken factory. I cried like the entire time.

On an ideal morning, I like to spend some time before work doing a fun thing, like reading or playing a video game. Sometimes (like today) I accidentally doomscroll/read too much news... but at least there's always time for a round of Root Bear.
