and like I do agree with Aja’s point that saying inception fandom sprouted because there were two hot guys is reductive but also like two hot guys with a dynamic and a backstory and a setting primed for infinite variation

I just think the auto-archiving fandom impulse is endlessly interesting!!!!

of course a lot of this is because there were quite a few inter-fandom BNFs (especially Aja so ymmv…) who stayed involved long term and like seem to have shepherded the fandom through the LJ migration to tumblr?

and because of like, everything about me as a person this scratches so many itches. I wish this existed for other fandoms in this way? I think? Maybe sometimes.
