okay so I think one of the reasons I’ve become so insane about inception in the last week is the fandom’s internal practice of archiving and commemorating. There’s a popular anniversary event and a lot of meta about the fandom’s growth and place in larger fandom spaces/histories

I’ve been reading this manga that I’ve been greatly enjoying about a boy who talks to cars and solves mysteries and his baby brother who might be a murderer with evil voice powers
It takes place in Iceland and is partially just a vehicle to talk about how cool Iceland is and I’m not mad about it.

I do think that just turning on my tv to the “heroes” channel which plays random star trek episodes 80% of the time is the right way to fill in the gaps in my Star Trek education
