My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Cops have the ability to run social security numbers. ICE could verify the woman's claim of citizenship on the spot if they wanted. They must get a bonus for everyone they drag into lockup. This is cruel, unnecessary and obscene harassment.

Think about the millions that will be paid out in 2-3 years when all of these lawsuits for wrongful termination, etc. are adjudicated in favor of the fired individuals. Our taxes will pay out all of these settlements.
This cruelty is going to cost America millions in law suits. This is what happens when a felon is in charge.
