i have so many points of contact with the public. its so frustrating to even think about honestly. i only have a handful of people i know personally and locally that also mask and take precautions. i know i cant control other people, but i wish people cared more. maybe i wouldnt have it rn if so

at the end of the day i’ll never know. i guess it doesnt matter where i got it, just that im not giving it to others.

i just wish other people felt the same i guess

its holiday season, and i work retail. theres always so many people around. i dont even know where i picked it up from. maybe from one of my coworkers who may have been asymptomatic. maybe someone coming in to do holiday shopping. possible someone sick in the bus. one of my unmasked family members?

ive been privileged enough to be able to take the time off work to recover. many people dont have that. im lucky my part time job hasnt made me go in regardless. i couldnt imagine i would have been much help anyways.

i keep thinking about how many people go in regardless, unmasked.

im still testing pos, and still not at 100%. idk how people go and work a job while dealing with it. i could barely lift my coffee cup for 5 days.
rest makes such a difference. ive been napping more than i ever have and sleep has been helping. ive never been a good sleeper, but my body needs it ig

We have to put a stop to this. It’s within our power to do so.

Demand clean air benchmarks and mandatory masking in hospitals. Provide free respirators at the door. If you’re a healthcare worker - put on a mask. Don’t wait for a mandate to do the right thing.

We can’t afford for you not to
A Plea to Maskless Healthcare Workers from Vulnerable Patients
If you see a mask - wear a mask. Better yet - wear a mask all the time and show us you understand that we're still IN a pandemic. We are depending on you to keep us safe - please don't betray that.
