So I posted them, one by one, on different platforms. I picked them back up, edited them and posted them.

The one that gets me the most is my undefined G Center. Can't help myself but come back to asking "who am I?"

I want to connect. I want to meet others who feel this way. I want to meet in the messy middle, together.

And I want my feed to be filled with something other than more of the same angry fearful noise.

I'll say again, where are the people who want to come together? Where are the people who want to exist outside of the two polarities and meet in the messy middle?? Where are those that want to collapse the growing chasm??

I am of the belief that hate creates more hate. Opposition creates more opposition. Fight creates more fight. Anger creates more anger. Fear creates more fear.

When we push against one side we only create an equal and opposite force pushing back.

These are the laws of the universe.

I came here (to Bluesky) for something different. I heard something different was happening here...

Most of what I have seen is more of the same. More identity politics. More hate directed to people on the other side. More opposition. More fight. More anger. More fear. (And more bunnies).

I agree! I see the value in having AI work on meaningless tasks, and I never want to consumer art created by it. I want to feel the heart of the artist who created it!

And at this point, the question to me isn't whether #AI will change us, but whether we'll be intentional enough to choose how.

I guess I feel it’s important to choose what we delegate to #AI and what we want to continue to cultivate in ourselves. What do we want to keep sharp? And what are we happy to hand off?

In another case, I had to build a survey to gather some information and feedback from users/members. I have done this a lot in the past, and I also don’t care if that skill gets atrophied. So I let AI do it. The result was 10 out of 10.

One example... I am trying to write more. I am doing it because I like it and it brings me some joy. I’m also doing it because it feels edgy and uncomfortable - it stirs a lot up in me. I want to grow, and I want to improve on it as a craft. I do NOT want this to atrophy.

For me, this isn't a call to stop using #AI. Not at all. I love it. It's incredibly helpful and useful.

What it is, though, is a call to be more conscious and aware of what I am using AI for and how I am using it. To be very intentional with it.

This isn't new. Throughout history, #technology has changed us:

• Before writing: we had better memories
• Before calculators: we were capable of more complex math in our heads
• Before social media: we connected more deeply in person
