SeaTac right now is in the running for the worst in the country. I’ve gone out of LAX twice this season and I’d take that over the SeaTac mess currently.

Yes and no. His deal became a major league contract once he was added to the roster. By DFA'ing him, that gives the M's a mechanism to send him to Tacoma ... but Tellez has enough time in the majors that he could refuse that assignment if he clears waivers and become a free agent.

Defensively, he's been exceptional and that's why the WAR is so high. He's probably the best defensive center fielder in the AL right now.
But yeah, the bat isn't where it needs to be at the moment.
