You might want to look up Mai Lai, Abu Ghraib, Kandahar, Haditha, Kent State, or any other infamous atrocities our military was involved in.

This, kids, is what we call nationalism. It's the result of decades of propaganda that a nation is the greatest on Earth and is the de facto "good guy" no matter how many atrocities they commit. Nationalism goes hand in hand with fascism, and is the antithesis of transparency and justice.
