I’ve heard plenty of stories of people who faced an endless cycle of “delays” trying to get care at NHS before they gave up and went to a private doctor.

I’ve been alive 34 years and many of my family on socialized healthcare schemes in the US have been denied claims by Medicaid and the VA.

Why wouldn’t socialized medicine also deny claims?

I’m not quite ready to ban online sports betting, but they certainly shouldn’t be allowed to advertise.

And gamblers should have to go in person and present an ID. Make the experience like buying cannabis or liquor.

This obscures a bigger strategic issue, it’s actually older voters and voters without degrees that need to be convinced to support family planning.

And instead of shaming them for taking away rights, the left should tell more stories of why family planning benefits elders and blue collar workers.

I’m also not a law and order voter. I voted for Pamela Price twice, Prop 47, marijuana legalization, etc.

I’m open to voting for more justice reforms. But the advocates are going to need to show me a plan that doesn’t involve shuttering brick and mortars and rampant auto burglaries.

The best way for Democrats to counter this is by loosening state and local regulations.

Anyone of average or higher IQ who wants to start a one-person business should be able to go get all the paperwork, tests and licenses finished in one day — including over the weekend.

There’s an illustration of this somewhere, but all I can find right now is this NASA archival photo that I think served as inspiration for the Dulles planners.

When Biden was in SF, there were multiple ambulances in his motorcade with the lights and sirens on.

There were also fighter jets, aerial refueling tankers and helicopters above (and I’m sure there was more stuff flying around you couldn’t easily see or here).

Ambulances are often part of a motorcade, every presidential motorcade I’ve seen outside of DC has had them.

I assume they’re there in case the president or first responders needs an EMT in the event of an attack or accident.
