I put it aside for a little while but back into it now. Your description is perfect. It’s familiar and comfy and I’m grateful for it. But I don’t think anything (for me at least) will overtake ‘The Wind Up Bird Chronicle’ as my favourite.

This is a great resource- I’ve always struggled to find the right words to describe the unusual symptoms of this condition

The sense of the infinite skies in Australia is such a stark contrast to the UK. Everything feels close there but coming back to Australia, the sky feels enormous and bright

If you live in an urban or suburban area with crows, it's not hard to befriend them. Rural crows are harder but not impossible.
First and foremost they like food. Peanuts in the shell are a favorites but anything works; crows are omnivorous. Below, my friend Salty.
