First panel I’m attending at #NationalHumanitiesConference features a fantastic trio all from Brown’s Humanities C, making critical space to conceptualize oceanic ways of knowing and being. Esp appreciated Rebecca Schneider’s rush of words, after Suzan Lori-Parks: “HOLD IT.”

I just got to Rhode Island for the National Humanities Conference. I’m a first time attendee sharing impressions of this gathering of (all?) the states’ humanities councils.
