While this is a victory for Congressional GOP, ALL of them know it is a hollow one. They want to cut 21% of the federal budget.
71% is Social Security, defense, and Medicare, along with interest on debt.
That leaves 28% to cut, if you take out law enforcement.
There is NO CONSENUS PATH.

While this is a victory for Congressional GOP, ALL of them know it is a hollow one. They want to cut 21% of the federal budget.

FACT: Nearly 2 in 3 adult Medicaid enrollees aged 19-64 already work; most of the rest would likely not be explicitly subject to the requirement based on having a disability, caring for family members, or attending school.
The GOP just wants to find ways to cut and give that money to wealthy folks.
