Words can buzz and hum like insects in the air.

I'm not actually a cat. But that's a secret.

Tawatawa. Pōneke. Aotearoa.

I was BuzzAndHum. I stil am.
I.... I dislike "normie." I think "normie" is, really, someone pretty online (like we all are) who engages with a modicum of common sense.

It's fun.

And then the cat reacts with "why are you two laughing so loudly and, are there treats?"

You're really describing Sarah and I's relationship here 😂

(ShittyDaystrom is one of my favourite subreddits. It takes a certain geekiness of fandom to happily, mercilessly, take the proverbial from the thing you're a fan of.)

"Text cricket" sounds like my kinda thing, though.

Yeah, it was. My partner Sarah helped with the editing of that final documentary. As he got sicker over the last decade he also became more and more generous, reaching out to others to work with, to have input.

A lovely man.

I feel very sad how he's never going to come home to his dogs, who are waiting for him.

Yeah. Not sure when the "official" announcement will come, but I understand RNZ is working on something in memoriam.

So very.

Yes. Which is for Gen X, kind of typical.

(Deeply ironic. So ironic, we're pretty much made of it.)

Totally.

One of the most profound lyrics, from a little known kiwi band.

But, that's Don McGlashan. He has always been a wonderful wordsmith, and a great singer, arranger, produce.

Which, I'm sure, will encourage David Seymour to argue for a second Auckland Harbour bridge.

My memory is it was on Lambton Quay. Got demolished to build the multiplex which has been closed since the 2016 earthquake.

I too hope so.
