Looking at this chart on moldova1.md/p/58353/parl... and I think if 3 percent of the vote is still to be counted and multiple time zones of major diaspora polling locations aren't even closed yet, locations we know to vote heavily PAS, then PAS has likely secured a pro-EU majority in the elections.

I’ve preserved a remarkable document: the page-by-page comments on the novel Roadside Picnic by the language editors. The comments span eighteen (!) pages and are divided into sections: “Comments Concerning the Immoral Behavior of the Heroes,” “Comments Concerning Physical Violence,” and “Comments About Vulgarisms and Slang Expressions.” I can’t allow myself not to produce a couple of excerpts. And keep in mind: I am in no way selecting quotes, not looking for idiocies on purpose; I’m presenting the comments in order, beginning with a paragraph from the explanatory letter that accompanied the pages: Of course, we [the editors] only copied out those expressions and words that, in our opinion, require either removal or substitution. These comments are first and foremost dictated by the fact that your book is intended for teenagers and young people, for members of the Young Communist League who see Soviet literature as a textbook on morals, a guidebook to life.

If you live in Ohio, it is imperative you get on the phone and into the ears of your representatives. You can find your state House representative here (https://www.legislature.ohio.gov/members/house-directory) and your state Senate representatives here (https://www.ohiosenate.gov/members/district-map). When you talk, mention that the bill would cause irreversible harm to one of the most celebrated public library systems in the country and that it does so while also actively harming young people and queer people in every community. Ask pointed questions about what the purpose is of such restrictions and where and how the state will help support those rural libraries most likely to be ruined by the budget. For Ohioans who are on social media, get loud. Between the closure of IMLS and this budget, your shining example of what public libraries can be will become an example of what happens when extremism takes over: destruction and devastation, particularly for marginalized people.

Loved this ePub project I did recently: English text sprinkled with Russian, and I also got to do cover art for it, and a new cover for the previous book in the quasi-series. (The books do stand alone). I also walked the author through Draft2Digital. Please share!

Reading Mulvaney and shitposting things like this to loved ones:

"We're way past 'ISO-8601 or GTFO' now..."

and

"We can't stop here, this is NISO TR03 country."

One of my loved ones is upset that this example used a 0 instead of an O in the formula for water. (I know my audience.)
