The taxi dropped me at Mile 2, terminus of the Lagos Metro Blue Line. The line currently only runs every 23 minutes but by the time I'd bought and loaded a Cowry Card (engraved with my name as "元LEX元NDER") it wasn't too much more waiting.

The ride itself was delightful; the train was uncrowded (at least in the off-peak direction) with good aircon and great views of Lagos and its harbor.

At the end of the ride at Marina Station I was greeted by a Krispy Kreme (which unfortunately wasn't as good as at US/EU locations but definitely not bad).
