Apparently the Ugly People see the need to do this to ”to see off “dark forces … stirring up anger” over migration,”

That’s from Mahmood via Alex Norris, Home Office Minister

If we are copying Denmark are we going to copy them on the welfare state and taxes too…or just stir up immigration hatred?

The government seems to be trying to simultaneously claim it can deliver Reform’s agenda better than Reform, while also about once a month sending out someone to decry Reform’s racism.

It’s genuinely sort of amazing that they still haven’t realised why that doesn’t work.

London is also diverse. It's hugely multicultural, and it's a largely tolerant and welcoming place.

Sure it has it's problems and the housing crisis is a big one.

But the haters don't hate this city because of that.

They hate it because it stands as living proof that multiculturalism works.

Gerrymandering is only a good idea if your party is perennially popular because when a wave comes in to punish your party in the next election, you will be decimated

Something I would pay my licence fee for alone is From Our Own Correspondent on Radio 4, which I listen to on BBC Sounds when I am out.
It always teaches me about things around the world which the regular news seems not to report. Important things as well as just lives

Liz Truss on Fox News supporting Trump suing the BBC

"There are lots of people in Britain who are cheering President Trump on and want him to sue the BBC"

"And I believe the organisation needs to be defunded"

Yep! The impact on the Energy Grids *alone* (this crap is expected to draw *daily* more than what tips many places into "Rolling Brownouts" in occasional hot weather!), shows it's not realistic.

Then there's the water needs, etc.

It's the new version of the Hyperloop or Space Elevator, is all.
