so when we can't buy or afford computer hardware anymore because all the manufacturers are only making hardware for datacenters... how exactly are we going to be using the shitty product no one wants that all the datacenters are being built for? i think about this a lot.
To spell this out clearly, the reason RAM has quadrupled in price is that a huge quantity of RAM that hasn't been produced yet has been bought with money that doesn't exist to populate GPUs that also haven't been produced to go in datacenters that haven't been built powered by infrastructure that may never exist to meet a demand that doesn't exist at all to make profit margins that mathematically can't exist while economists talk about this thing they call the "rational markets hypothesis". first time making these almond cookies with aquafaba as an egg replacer and they're just as good as the batch that were made with eggs. texture test: chewy exterior but the inside is like almond paste. flavour: lemon zest and vanilla. pretty pleased to share these with coworkers tomorrow 🍽️ #baking
