Unfortunately I had to keep the brightness down to 30% to avoid ground noise distorting the control signals. I’ll have to try differential signaling next year.

In order to ensure our staff get fed, today I am reverse engineering our pancake machine to defeat the DRM the manufacturer imposes on the batter supply.
I just finished designing and ordering a replacement mainboard that should let us run with our own batter.

I don't think I've seen a servo fail this way. The dc motor inside is seized, but all the gearing looks fine. Odd. They offer replacement motors but I might get a beefier/quieter one instead.
