Purrr-fection!

Currently Dark Elf models are split between 2 factions: Cities of Sigmar & Daughters of Khaine.

Umbraneth have been rumored for awhile, but there's already 4 elf factions + CoS, so I don't think they're in a rush for another.

I could see them being a sub-faction of DoK though.

While not a proper term, I'd say a fitting name for it would be "national dissonance" - The divergence between the public & their national representatives.

Apparently Chairon, alongside then Captain Acheran, died to a Genestealer cult.

"Acheran, Chairon, and the rest of their brothers had sold their lives to cull untold numbers of xenos hybrids."

I firmly believe they should diversify their Christmas minis.
They should make either an Ogor Mawtribes Santa or a Beastmen Krampus.

(Maybe have some Eldar as Santa's elves).

I also wonder how the times of release will play a roll. More generic models may look more suspicious after comparing Ghamak's order of releases with GW model reveals.

Then there's stuff like a big lizard & lizardmen, fine, but there's 1 long lizard with an alternate head & 3 dudes with sticks.

For awhile, they were being smart with their proxies by adding a "theme" to distance themselves from the originals - Japanese Skaven & Drukhari, Soviet Sisters of Battle, & Persian Ogors, but...

they got complacent...

Oh! Neat, I didn't even consider it being an I.

I really like these designs, with the ornate clutter feeling appropriate, both for the Imperium & for currency in general.

I must as though, why'd you decide to use a cartouche for the MG mark?
October 5, 2025 at 8:50 PM
It's the "Thermoptic" variant of the pistol, so I'm assuming they wanted to go with the "invisibility theme" by using transparent parts.

I love the worn-off color of the armor.
Is this a renegade Space Maid?

I'd say you have a rather defined style: Round shapes, soft linework, smooth rendering, bright colors, & strong visual clarity.

Drawing will always have its high & low moments, so taking a step back every once & a while to think on your work is a good habit to have.

I agree. I think Grey Knights should lean further into the classic knight aesthetic.
I'm still surprised we don't have any Mk6 Grey Knights, their helmets would compliment the Grey Knights' theme well.
August 1, 2025 at 4:14 AM
It'll turn out that no one has any idea what's in the box, but the Grey Knights like to think of cool rumors to spread around when they're board.

The real twist though will be that the box is completely empty. The Emperor just asked them to put it somewhere & they formed a cult around it.
July 31, 2025 at 4:17 AM
If this was something the Emperor wanted a contingency for, you'd think he'd ask his loyal companions who -
1. Are objectively better then Grey Knights (-psykers)
2. Already on Terra
3. Allied with an anti-psyker force - the best shot anyone would have of countering a new born warp god.
July 31, 2025 at 4:04 AM
Custodes *AND* the Sisters of Silence, you know... the order of psychic nulls... against an army of psykers.

Yeah, the Grey Knights would be absolutely screwed. ~1000 Grey Knights vs even half the Custodes alone is a death sentence. I don't know what the Emperor's plan was here.

I always interpreted it as a bunch of kids who, after hearing stories from their neighbor's time in the navy, imagined their school bus was a submarine with the "sea of green" being the green lawns of the neighborhood.

I like thinking of units for factions & Fyreslayers have been a continuous struggle to expand the range in a believable, yet still interesting way.

Most ideas I see online have been rather generic: Mini-magmadroth riders or armored dwarfs. So more out-there ideas like your phoenix stick with me.
July 19, 2025 at 5:40 AM
Maybe cavalry? Or a flying unit, like that phoenix riding dwarf you drew awhile back? They should lean more into the primal, bestial, & spiritual aspects of the faction.

Fyreslayers should be the more agile, close-to-mid-range counterpart to the Helsmiths' slow artillery.
July 19, 2025 at 5:25 AM
I mean, the Fimir are already canonically part of the Grand Alliance of Destruction & I've been wanting to see a Destruction faction that isn't just *humanoids of abnormal size*

So yeah, I'd welcome a Fimir faction (after they flesh out some of the more anemic, existing factions...*Fyreslayers*).

I could see someone using the Steeljacks for Iron Hands/Deathwatch prosthetics.

Just to note, memory loss isn't a guaranteed side effect of reforging, with the full range of potential side effects being rather vast & unpredictable.
This lists just some of the possible effects.

It would've been great if they'd done another chaos team like this instead.
Khorne Bezererkers with a variety of poses & weaponry or maybe an Emperor's Children team with each depicting their distinct indulgences.

I don't know what the point is of having another chapter agnostic Primaris team.

Mischievous kitty face!! Love it.

It seems ~the same size as the Telemon Heavy Dreadnought (largest dreadnought)/Armiger-class knights (smallest knight), so... close enough?
