I think a major issue I've been having with books lately is the fmc's. Especially if they try to be "edgy" but with no depth. When they give "pick me" vibes. I kind of think that is one thing Sarah J Maas has done a decent job with. Like the only fmc of hers that really bothered me was Bryce.

So I'm reading Flock....I'd give it a 4.6/10.
I don't know why. I just didn't feel super attached to the characters. Cecelia is maybe one of the most annoying main characters I've come across. And I'm not even feeling the boys too much. Someone please tell me it gets better.
